Quickview Shows Battery Instead of Clock

My daughter's ace will only show the battery when we do quickview.  Also, it is stuck showing battery first when we double tap the screen instead of the clock as it is set to do.  Any suggestions on how to change this?  I have tried to remove showing the battery all together via the Customize Display but still shows it regardless of what is selected to show.  I have only "clock" and "active minutes" selected to show on the Ace screen but it shows "battery", "clock", and "active minutes" instead.

Hi, @Worldflyer, under "Customize Display" you can change the order of the Ace's display by clicking on the 3 lines on the right and moving them up and down.  If the clock is first that is what will display when the wrist is turned.

As you have also noticed you can check or uncheck items that you want displayed or not displayed.

I believe that if the battery is very low it will always briefly show first (this is how it worked with older Fitbit devices; I have not confirmed if this is the case with Ace) -- so do make sure the Ace has plenty of charge.

If you have made changes to the display on the app, and it is not reflected on the Ace, that means that the Ace has not synced since you made those changes.  Please check and confirm that in the app under Customize Display everything is as you want it and then immediately force a sync on the Ace (if you click on the Ace icon it will show the time and date of last sync, so you can check if the sync has gone through).

If you are having difficulty syncing, usually a quick restart will sort this out.  Sometimes you need to repeat the restart procedure two or three times.

Once the Ace has synced the changes on the display will be reflected on the Ace.

I hope this helps!  Please post again if you continue to have difficulty.

Hi @Worldflyer, it's great to see you around.

I can see @Julia_G already provided all the details to customize the Ace display. You can also check this article for more instructions.

You can choose if you'd like to see the battery indicator first or not, however, as @Julia_G mentioned, a low battery level could be the reason why you're seeing the battery first when using the Quick View feature (even when you remove battery from the stats you'd like to see). Could you please try to recharge the Ace and check if you still see it first?

Keep us posted.
