I have been ready to move my Fitbit account to my Google account, but after reading and re-reading the different parts of the FAQ on the subject, none of the articles adequately explain what I should do when:
1) I have a Fitbit family. I am the Main Guardian. My kid was under 13 when I added her, she was using one of my old Fitbit charge devices (kid never used Ace).
2) We also have Google Family link. I am the Family Manager. Kid is a Supervised Member. Kid turned 14 several months ago. When kid turned 13 we decided we were going to continue supervising their account until they turn 16.
3) The instructions have said I need to get in their Kid Profile and then Upgrade the Account - but the kid had beaten me to the punch, kid created their own Fitbit account *before* we could upgrade their account. So when I try to follow the steps to Upgrade - I hit a wall when entering the kid's email address because it is already associated with a Fitbit account.
4) Also, it is not clear to me what happens if I delete the profile of my child in the Fitbit family. Am I deleting the account that my child had already created using their own Gmail account or is that Fitbit child account data only associated with my Fitbit account?
Some guidance would be appreciated.

Hello @FlippinFoodieFL since your question is about family accounts and not the Charge 6, I've moved your post to the family account. Hopefully someone with a better grasp of family accounts can answer
You say that you gave your child a tracker (not an Ace), you child would have had to create an adult account. Supposedly only an ace can connect to a child account.
Did your child create an account with a different login then the one that was used with the family account? If so you would want to upgrade their first child account.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @FlippinFoodieFL. I'll be glad to assist you with your Fitbit migration to Google and with your child account inquiry.
You can still supervise your child after the account is no longer a child account . You can check the help article: Add & manage supervision on a current Google Account.
Also, you can go to: How to move a Fitbit Account to a Google Account?
Thank you for your assistance @Rich_Laue.

Hello, Andrea.
Kid was added before there was even the concept of Family Link. I created a Gmail account for her with a slightly different birth date (ar the time you had to be 18 to have one, I wanted to save it for her as an adult).
When she turned 13, Google gave us an opportunity to change her birth year back to what it really is. By that time we had Family Link and we have opted to continue supervising her account until she turns 16.
She had gone and created her own Fitbit account using her email address before I could do the whole upgrade process from my account. No, I have not deleted anything, I am very hesitant to.
I don't want to lose my data. She doesn't want to lose her data. But I struggle with these instructions.
