Setting up the brand new out of box
Ace 2, had full screen working. Updates complete, charging, and now the screen only works on the left-most side, only about a column of two pixels. Attempted rebooting, but still not working the full screen. I can tell it's trying to display but the rest of the screen isn't working.

I just tried to delete it from my account then reattach, but to link it back I still need to see the screen to see the numbers to link. I can't do the factory restart, now that I've unlinked the fitbit from my app. I am at a loss.

I am sorry to hear the screen on your new Ace 2 works only on one side. Thank you for trying to resolve this and providing the additional details. I understand how you are feeling and I am glad to assist you. Upon checking with our Support team, I was told that you have already contacted them. I know they will be glad to help you out and provide a solution. I recommend to continue working with them since they have already all the details and special tools to continue assisting you.
