Set up Fitbit Ace, not showing on account

Daughters Ace just arrived, have downloaded the app on her phone and set up an account for me and then a family account for her. Tried to add the Ace device, it finds it and gives me a code to input into the app on the phone then returns me to my daughters view but without the device showing?! Have tried adding it on mu account all steps as above but again the device (tracker!) is not synced with the app, have re-installed the app turned BT on and off but still no joy! What do I do now?

If you have  your fitbit near by please move it away at least 30 to 40 feet. They do interfere with each other

I don't have another Fitbit! This is the first one I've set up!

@Mark1973 It's difficult to say what's going on here without looking at your account and I'm not seeing an account associated with your email address. When you say I set up an account for me and then a family account for her do you mean you set up a family account under your account and created a child account?  I would suggest viewing how do I manage a family account and how do I set up an Ace, as well if you haven't already.
