Setting up Inspire 2 for child under family account

Hi,

We have just bought and inspire 2 for our 10 year old. In order to set it up we have to do it via a family account, however when I go in to try and link a device to the child’s account there is only the option to link the Ace and Ace 2. Can anyone give any pointers on how I can set the account up by adding a different Fitbit device?

Sorry, but only Ace or Ace 2 can be used for child in family account.

And child under 13 cannot have own Fitbit account.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
