Sleep duration not showing on Ace 2

Hi all,

when i swipe my kid's ACE 2, all the stats are fine except the last one about sleep duration, it's not showing anything and it's in grey colour. However, if I sync the device, I could see the sleep stats, and then the sleep duration will appear back in the screen of the device. It happened for a few days already. I remember the first day the child wearing it, it's automatically showing up in the screen.

I tried to restart the ACE2 but it's still the same. Any advice? Thanks.

I am have the same issue with my sons ace 2 and it’s frustrating! Even with syncing it’s still gray. If Fitbit doesn’t fix the issue I will want my money back. These aren’t cheap!

Hi Twanta22,

I have received so called over 100 support emails from fitbut but none of
those works. Complete waste of time if you look for solution from them.

Hitting the exact same issue for both of the Ace 2 devices I bought my kids last week 😞

I’m having the same problem as well and also own an Ace2 and an Inspire HR. Please help with a resolution.

Also happening to me. Just got my daughters both Fitbit Ace 2's for Christmas, and already they are not working properly. Each of their devices tracked sleep for 1 night, and will no longer show on the device. Totally unacceptable for a company as big as Fitbit to let something like this continue without a response or solution.

I'd say we all deserve a credit for some free accessories (at the very least).

Seems like an official bug, is there a Fitbit representative that is aware of this?

I am having this same problem with my child’s Ace 2. Has anyone managed to fix this?

I have tried the raccoon clock face, as suggested by a previous poster, but it doesn’t work either.

Same issue here with the two Ace 2s we got our children for Christmas. Tracking fine on the phone, but nothing on the watch face.

I'm having the same problem. Bought two Ace 2 fitbits for my kids and neither is showing sleep info on the Fitbit. It appears to be capturing the data when I sync them, however.

Same problem. We bought 3, Ace 2’s  the day after Christmas and the sleep function hasn’t been working well on any of them either.

After a short trouble shooting session with the online Fitbit support, they’re sending me a replacement.

Clearly there’s an issue though, perhaps it is a certain batch that’s faulty and that’s why they feel a replacement will work.

Does the replacement work? I don't feel like it's a problem related to certain batch as I got this problem half year ago and I can see people keep posting this since then.

The replacement is in the mail, so will post back when it arrives.

My little boy loves his new Fitbit so I have fingers crossed that it will work.

Another set of ace2’s with the same problem here. The device doesn’t update the sleep but it does sync to my phone and display the data there.

I have the same problem with my son's new Ace 2. It also takes a long time to sync with my phone. And no ability to track miles?? My friend bought her daughter a Garmin tracker and that seems much more efficient.

I think it’s just a design fault. I have complained for many months and gave up.

Add us to the list having the same problem.  A Christmas present for my daughter.  Was working great, showing the sleep.  Now it doesn't show on the fitbit, but does show in the Dashboard on the tablet, and of course this is a major problem (to her 🐵

Exact same thing here. Bought my son a FitBit ACE 2 for Christmas and it shows the sleep in the app after syncing, but not FitBit screen. I tried restarting it, but it didn't make a difference. I then called the UK Support line which appears to ring through to the US where the lady on the support line informed me that this feature wasn't fully developed yet and that they didn't support it! I told her I didn't agree with her and told her about all the posts in this forum, but she wasn't interested. Terrible support!

We have the same problem. 2 Fitbit 2 bought for our children at Christmas. One shows sleep data on watch the other doesn’t. Done all the suggestions mentioned here and still doesn’t work. Fitbit please help to solve this.

Gave my daughter an Ace 2 for her birthday and we have the same problem, sleep is registered through the fitbit app on the dashboard but not on the fitbit where my daughter wants to see it. This is sold as a function of the device but it clearly does not work. Please respond fitbit.
