Stuck in kids view

I changed to kids view and can’t return to my view. I can’t log out of her account. If I go to ‘switch profile’ it bounces me back to her account. There is no family tile, just friend tile.

I deleted my Fitbit app from my phone, then I reinstalled it. Then I just followed the prompts to sign back in. It’s works for me, but I haven’t tried going back to Kid’s View, so I don’t know if I’ll get stuck again.

Did you lose all of your data though from your account doing that though?

I deleted the app and reinstalled. As soon as I logged in, it kept all of my data thank goodness. I haven’t tried going back into kids view yet!

I have a Fitbic Alta and my kids have Fitbit Ace. Yesterday I switched to one of the child account views, but it seems I cannot switch back to my account for some reason. 

 

I go to settings - "Bytt profil i Familie" (norwegian for switch profile in family), but the "Family" button is no longer shown in this account, only "Friends", so it is now impossible for me to switch back to see my own data.

I’m in exactly the same position and getting increasingly frustrated with it. Have you managed to resolve the problem? If so - how?

Thanks for taking the time to share these details and the steps that you've tried so far. @Jalan and @Kanstiss I'm glad you sorted this out and whenever you have time, please try going to kids view and then back to the parent view to see if it works well.

@Kirosamac and @Sarah19870 If you haven't done so, let's try uninstalling the Fitbit app, rebooting your phone and reinstalling the Fitbit app to see if the Fitbit app allows you to switch to kids and parent view.

Hello, I’m having the same problem discussed here, going on for weeks now. I must have deleted and reinstalled the app about 10 times and still it’s the same issue - it gets stuck when I change to kid profile and I can’t get back to adult one as nothing happens when I click the button. I have rebooted my phone, made sure everything is up to date etc.

What else can I try? It is basically making the product unusable.

I’m having exactly the same issue and have just commented on another thread. One of the suggestions was to uninstall the app, reboot your phone, download the app again and then see if it works. I’ve tried that about 10 times though and it hasn’t solved the problem, I’m still getting stuck when switching to kids profile. Very frustrating!
