Stuck on Los Angeles time (Ace 3)

I've got a problem I see others have also had regarding the automatic timezone setting on the Fitbit app for example here's a link to a Blaze user with the same issue:

I gave my son an Ace 3 for Christmas and we've not been able to figure out how to set the time correctly .. It detects Los Angeles automatically and if we try change it manually the setting doesn't push to the device.

We've tried updating via the web interface (https://www.fitbit.com/settings/profile) but the time is still incorrect. Any help appreciated, really disappointing it's this complicated to set the time on a watch!!!

If anyone stumbles upon this, i've tried:

* Factory resetting watch

* Uninstalling/reinstalling fitbit app.

* Updating via the web interface at https://www.fitbit.com/settings/profile

 

Still stuck on Los Angeles time.

 

Will be returning the watch.
