I thought I'd set up a separate thread for succesful solutions to setting up an ACE for a child.
Currently it is impossible to use Google accounts or family link to set up an ACE - as it cannot be added as a device to an adult account and a supervised (<13) child account cannot log into the Fitbit app on an android phone.
I have set up an adult Fitbit account and created a child within this account.
My child logs into the adult account in the Fitbit app on her android phone.
In the child view of her profile she can add the ACE device and pair it to her phone using bluetooth.
