My daughter recently got an Ace, and in switching to her account on my app and back the google assistant on my Versa 3 breaks. Every time I do this, then switch back, I have to re-pair and then re-activate the assistant.
Is this common? Is there some way to be able to switch to kids view and switch back but not lose this setup?

Thank you for visiting the Fitbit Community, @mls79.
I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Versa 3. Thank you for the information provided.
Your Watch shouldn't be affected by switching to kids view. To try to resolve the issue, please restart your Watch by following these instructions.
In addition, you can set up your Versa 3 as a replacement device:
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. I tried to restart the Versa, but the same problem. Some additional information:
Just by switching to kid view and back to parent view, it seems like the entire Versa connection to my phone gets reset. Not only do I have to set up the Google assistant again, but I lose my notification setups as well. I even get a pop-up to pair the watch with my phone again, as well as another pop-up to allow the phone/app to manage the Versa.
So - is this not the way it's supposed to work? And if not, any other options? I obviously restarted my Versa. I also completely uninstalled and re-installed the app on my phone, but got the same behavior.

Thanks for your response, @mls79.
Our team is currently releasing a new version of the Fitbit app (3.54). If you still don't have the option to download it, please check for updates over the next days. For instructions on how to check your current version and update, please visit this article and open the menu "How do I update the Fitbit app?".
In the meantime, you can set up your Fitbit Ace as a replacement device to see if the issue with your Versa 3 gets resolved.
Have a nice day.
