Syncing an adult phone with child’s fitbit

I have just bought an Ace 3 for my son. It’s working ok and I’ve set up a family account and a child account. However, when synched to my phone the Fitbit notifies him when I’m making a call/message etc. I don’t want him seeing my messages so does this mean I can’t have his Fitbit synced to my phone? I would like to know how much exercise he’s getting and sleep etc but don’t want him seeing details from my phone.

Hi @DrRuth,

I would consider restarting each of your Fitbits and the phone to start with.  I had this issue when I tried updating all my Fitbits this week, and sometimes my account would send notifications to the wrong device.  Once I restarted the device that wasn't supposed to receive the message, it sorted itself out.
