So this isn’t watch specific, but I just got my children ace 3’s and set up one of them on my Fitbit account as the guardian (I have a versa 2). As soon as I went back to my screen, all I have is calorie counts and the few useless tiles for me (weight, water, food which I don’t use). I’ve restarted, deleted the app, logged out, tried the edit tabs… nothing.
*edit*
So anyone who does a search and gets this… it’s because it’s not actually picking up/Synching your watch. You have to add your device again. No need to re-install the app, turn off the phone or whatever. Just simply add your watch and it will pick up where you left off.
it only tells you calories, because that is the only thing that calculates on its own based on time in addition to any actual data.
also, mine got rid of my device because I added my son’s ace 3 through the family/guardian function. When it was added, my original one was removed. Don’t fret though, you *can* have them both on there, it just doesn’t seem to want to do it without re-adding after the fact. Just an odd glitch.
seems like it has happened to others before, but the most recent topic started was two years ago. Figured I’d start a new one.
any tips on how to get my Home Screen back again? None of the suggestions on the old posts worked as of yet.

Hello @Jeepmike
I helped an individual with a similar situation just about a week ago. It seemed to help her so maybe it can help you as well. Here’s the thread so you can view it yourself:https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Inspire-2/Added-Ace-for-my-child-amp-suddenly-my-Inspire-lost-tiles/...
😃 Hopefully it helps you as well. The video in the thread is also great information. Let me know if this answers your question as well.

Appreciate the answer mega. My cut and paste job on the edit really makes a mess of my post! Whoops! The last little paragraph was meant in the first part, pre-edit.
I was able to solve it as the other user did as well. The multiple older threads, much like the one you linked, all the suggestions were restarting and reinstalling the app it seemed. All I needed to do was re-add my own device as it had vanished! I think having those basic tiles on the app even when no device is connected really confuses many (and definitely me)! I just assumed it was still linked and syncing as it had been previously with just less detail.
Thanks again.
