Tracking heart beat on kids trackers

Hello,

 

We are new Fitbit users, I got an HR 2 tried it for 2 days liked it and decided to get one for my 12yo. I am pretty disappointed to only find out now that his watch does not monitor heart beats.

Any good reason for that? I understand that it might be distracting for kids at school during classes, but it could track it and give stats upon synchronising and on parent account, no ?

I am glad to hear you like your Fitbit tracker and appreciate your feedback and suggestion to have the heart rate feature on kids trackers. Our team is always working on improving our devices and user experiences, and your comments are always welcome. Feel free to post your idea in our Feature Suggestions board. That way other users can comment and vote on the idea to show their support. You can read the FAQ to better understand how that board works.

 

I was able to find this suggestion which is asking the same you are! I recommend voting for this idea, this is the best way to ask for implementations for Fitbit trackers.
