Trying to set up family account

Hello! We bought our daughter an Ace 3 for her birthday and I am trying to set up the account on my app and I cannot get passed the “Please wait while we set up your family account” screen. Any tips before I return this? I have a very disappointed little person.

Have you called fit bit? Mine is messed up too . I was on hold and got cut
off

I’m having the same trouble. I think I have to change my sign-in to be a Google account (rather than my old Fitbit account). What’s next is how do I do that!
