I see this was a hot topic for the Ace 2 and my hope is that it's easily fixed. 🙂
I am unable to add friends to my child's Ace 3 profile. I've tried two things:
In both cases, I received an email to approve the requests. In both cases, when I click the "approve request" button in the email, it takes me to the notifications page of our account, but the page is empty. Nothing there to approve.
Help! (please)

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced to add friends. Thank you for trying to get them resolved before contacting us.
In this case, you can switch to parent view and tap Notifications. Then tap the notification and approve it. For detailed instructions of how to add friends to a Family Account, please visit this article and open the menu "How does my child add friends in the Fitbit app?".
If you continue having the same problem, please try the following:
- Log out from your Fitbit account
- Reboot your phone
- Log back into your Fitbit account
- Try again to add friends to your child's Ace 3 profile
