Unable to create child account on Fitbit app

Hi,

I hope you can help me with this.

I spent hrs to add my son' new Ace 3 device to my Fitbit app, bit no joy.

I'm already the main guardian on the Fitbit app. My son ha neither a mobile phone nor a tablet.

I just downloaded the Family Link app on my Samsung mobile but I'm unable to add my son's Google Account to my smartphone.

In the online instructions on how to 'Setting up a Kids tracker for the first time' it's suggested to go to Today tab and tap on my profile picture and then tap -My Family'.

However, there's no "My Family" option to select or tap.

Thus, I'm unable to create a Child Account on my Fitbit app.

Any help?

Thanks

I clicked on add device Ace 3 and it gave the option to set up a family account. Still struggling though as I can't see the Ace 3 on my devices when in my normal view, so have to keep adding device every time I want to go into the Ace, and then re pair to my Luxe when I want to go back into that. Really not what I expected 🙁

100,% the same situation I find myself in. I'm pulling my hair out. It won't let me add a child on the Fitbit account and when I try to login with the new Google account I set up for her it tells me there's a problem as it's linked to family link. I'm at a loss
