Watches in family account getting mixed up

So, I've just spent today trying to figure out why my watch (charge 2) and my two kids' Ace 2 keeps swapping information. My son's watch is taking my steps, my profile on the app is taking his sleep patterns and when I tried to delete the accounts to re-pair the devices it tells me an error has occured. I went on a 3 hour trek which garnered 20,000 steps in. The moment I came home my watch stopped tracking steps, my son's watch then started counting from 20,000 onwards and then on close inspection my profile on the app thinks I'm using his watch to sleep! I certainly didn't sleep 9 hours last night. Pretty sure no mother on this planet does 🙄

Is anyone else having his problem??? How can the app allow watches to overlap info and how do you even point the watches to the right family member?? On top of that, when I tried to add a new device (my kids both got Ace 2 for Xmas) it told me that one Ace 2 was already on the account, so does that mean you can only have different watch types on one account?? How does that even make sense?

I need to have a lie down now.

Literally send help. This mother is having a digital meltdown. 😭🤯

@Sherryedwards A warm welcome to the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.

I truly appreciate the time you took to share your experience with Ace 2 and Charge 2. I'll be happy to help you getting everything set up and that all the information tracked by each Fitbit gets too the correct account.

It sounds to me like Ace 2 and Charge 2 were set up to your account and that's why it's showing the information mixed up and it's showing that you slept 9 hours. As you mentioned, mothers are always busy they don't sleep that much 😁

I would like you to unpair the Ace 2 from your account and make sure you're following these tips to set it up to the kid's account. Check this article to learn more about managing a Fitbit family account

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
