Where can I find a larger band for the Ace 3?

My son received an Ace 3 as a gift. He was so excited because he has been wanting a FitBit for so long. The band is so small he has to hook it on the last hole. I went on Amazon and bought him a new band that showed to be larger but it’s not. Where can I find a larger band? He is only 11 and seems ridiculous that they don’t offer larger bands!!!

Hi @ScottMom  go to Amazon and search for this "strap extender Fitbit Ace 3" and you'll find something that could work for your son. Fitbit has the Ace 3 as one size and no other Fitbit band will work with it.

The wristbands of the Ace 3 fit wrists 4.8" - 6.8" in circumference. The Fitbit Inspire 2 small Classic Bands fit perfectly the Fitbit Ace 3 and they fit wrists 5.5" - 7.1" in circumference and the large fit wrists 7.1" - 8.7" in circumference. You can print this guide to find the right size for your son.

Thank you for the information but the inspire 2 has a totally different
band and will not fit the Ace 3. I think Fitbit just needs to make an
actual large band for the Ace 3.

The manual is wrong. The Ace 3 has a completely different band style.

Hello @cem1109 and welcome to the Community.  It's my understanding that the Ace 3 uses the same pebble as the Inspire 2, just with different programming.  Please watch this YouTube video that shows you how to change an Inspire 2 band.  I hope you can see how to use the pin system.  The Fitbit Store sells the same charger for the Ace 3 and Inspire 2.

The original Ace was a modified Alta.  The Ace 2 is a modified Inspire.  I can't find specific documentation, but I'm pretty confident that an Ace 3 is a modified Inspire 2.

It isn't. The band on the ace 3 encapsulates the tracker rather than just
attaching on the sides

@cem1109   I found this YouTube video where the person takes the pebble out of the case and rolls it around in his fingers.  Please notice the two very deep grooves on both ends (that don't seem to do anything in the Ace 3 strap).  These grooves are where the pins go.

I am now 100% confident that the Ace 3 pebble is exactly the same as the Inspire 2 pebble.  I have an Inspire 2, but don't use it.
