sensors right and left not working and the screen is always blinking

My son got a fitbit Ace 3 for his birthday 30 days ago and it is not consistently responding to the touch sensors on the sides. What can I do please or is this a warranty issue?

i'm not seeing any effective solution, I'm really disappointed and would not recommend this product
