My Fitbit Alta will not stay charged more than a few hours even when charged 100% overnight. I am so frustrated with customer service as they will not assist in replacing as it is out of warranty and it is no longer for sale from Fitbit. You can only obtain one through replacement. I have spent so much money on accessories compatible only with the Alta and Alta hr including a $150 gold bangle that is essentially useless if I cannot obtain the same tracker. It seems like this is a racket and MANY consumers are having the same problem with the Altas and they are no longer replaceable. I hope Fitbit will reach out and work to resolve this issue. I feel like we should take to social media and call them out for Alta issues that they refuse to address. Stand behind your products Fitbit and don't sell pricey accessories for a model that will be obsolete in three months!

Not as extreme but my alta hasn't been holding a charge for the same length of time. Over past few months has gone from 7 days to 6 and now only 5.

yes mine did that too. Slowly went from holding a charge for nearly a week to needing to be charged every night to dead. Seems like so many people report the same. Like it has a shut down programmed. Probably so we will buy another. I will likely switch brands.

My Alta charged all night and this morning shows only 40% charge! This device is brand new-only 2nd time to charge. What’s up with that?

When Google bought out Fitbit in Nov 2019 is when many started having battery and shut down problems. I think we will have paper weights soon.
