My Alta HR is truly a miraculous - or should I say mysterious - piece of gear!
Today (and this was not the first, nor probably the last time it happened) I reached my active minutes goal with 68 minutes of intensive exercise while taking a spinning class. *Hurrah and fireworks*
Then I got home and:
- synced my Fitbit,
- active minutes were *added* to today's earlier total of 23 minutes as expected,
- added the spinning class I took tonight and .....
Oh no! Gone were my 68 minutes of active minutes! Back to 23! 😫
Despite the fact that in the newly added activity heart rate chart, as well as in the heart rate module, that indeed I have been doing some serious strenuous workout, peak level heart rate, topping those lowly 23 minutes!
Resetting the Fitbit multiple times doesn't change my active minutes status, nor does re-syncing within the app, logging in online or restarting the app.
I am very sorry, but this is just plain weird and should not happen. Is this another development bug introduced by new versions? Maybe I should start exploring other options in terms of wearables... 🤔 😞

Hi @SunsetRunner, It's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums, welcome back! Sorry for the delayed reply.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this situation, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? Which mobile device are you using to sync your Alta HR? If you haven't already done so, please try the following steps:
Force quit the Fitbit app.
Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
Make sure that the OS version of your phone is up to date.
Reboot your mobile device.
Reinstall the Fitbit app.
Login using your account credentials.
Let me know if the issue persists.
Keep me posted.

Hi Ricardo,
Sorry about not responding, I don't visit the forum often, mostly to seek answers or to see if anyone else is having a particular problem. Today I visited again because of my Alta HR demonstrating the exact same problem as described earlier in this post. Since the post it has happened once or twice, and another time today. Quite annoying.
This morning due to the weather and Corona, I decided to install the good old road cycling and tacx trainer to do some indoor Youtube assisted spinning. Afterwards I created a 1hr2ms spinning activity, and all was swell. When I went to the store to get some groceries, my fitbit congratulated me for reaching my day's goal of active minutes, totalling 81. I got home synced, and it registered as expected.
After an afternoon with a lot of walking, suddenly my active minutes dropped back to 31 minutes. Which I guess are my active minutes picked up by my Fitbit (ie. not having to add it manually). Checking in the app, this morning's spinning activity is still there with the correct number of minutes and heart rate.
A further evening outdoor bicycle ride registered as expected, adding active minutes, but did not change the missing spinning minutes. Removing the spinning activity and adding it again did not change the active minutes, even though it averaged a heart rate of 143 over an hour. Resyncing a number of times does not help either.
Now as I usually - in the pre-corona era - took spinning classes at night, added them as an activity that same night, and these minutes were added to my active minutes, I would almost think it has something to do with active minutes later detected by Fitbit overwriting manually added minutes. But as I removed and added this morning's minutes, and that did not make a difference - unless I should change the time as well - the source of this error remains a mystery to me ... Please debug.
