I just noticed yesterday that I have vertical cracks on my Alta Hr screen. Because of the price, I am always careful with it. From researching on here, it appears to be a problem that has been going on since 2017. I'm not sure why the defect hasn't been corrected or being able to replace the screen hasn't been developed. Frustrated. I've already had to have the band changed out. It just broke. Disappointed in the responses that I've seen people have.

I also have a vertical crack in my Fitbit face... seems to still be working. Not excited to buy a new one again....

I like many others have an Alta HR cracked screen. It was fine one day and cracked the next. Yes, it’s out of warranty but I didn’t do anything to damage it. Customer service offered me 25% off something new but it doesn’t take care of the defect. From the research I’ve done it’s been happening for years.

Customer service said I should keep posting here. My screen cracked on its own. Fitbit Is researching why this happens but it’s been going on since 2016. I think this is their business model to get us to buy new ones. They’ll give you 25% off of a new one if you’re out of warranty. Meanwhile they’re still selling the same screen. 🤷:female_sign: It’s every model. Not just the Alta Hr. Good luck if you buy one.
