Until two days ago, my Alta HR display was plainly visible indoors (not so well in sunlight). Then I noticed that the display is significantly more dim, almost to the point of invisible. The Alta is fully charged, and I've performed the reset steps with no change in brightness. I've had this tracker for over a year, and I like it. What can I do to get the display brightness back to where it was?

All you can try is several restarts. ItIf that doesnt fix it let the battery run right out and leave it flat for a few jours, then fulky charge it. If it is no better then Im afraid there is nothing you can do. It might be worth contacting support (link in my signature), but it sounds like it might be out of warantee.

It's even worse on my AltaHR, it's barely visible in complete darkness. I tried completely draining the battery and recharging but no use. A completely useless device.

Mine is the same. Did you get anywhere? Thanks!
