I have an Alta hr, which I just bought 2 days ago and the screen is already going out. Seems to be a common trend here.

@Unclejbone12 A warm welcome to our Community! Sorry to hear that your Alta HR is showing dead pixels. Please try restarting it by doing the following:

  • Plug your charging cable into a USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  • Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display. Your tracker will begin charging.

  • Press the button on your charging cable 3 times within a few seconds, briefly pausing between presses. The button is on the end of the charging cable that is plugged into your computer. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.
  • Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

I also moved your post to the correct board.

Let me know how it goes!

I have the same problem.

Purchase it four month ago.

The problem started off with the display flickering. Which I restarted the Fitbit the flickering has stop but now I have dead pixels line through the display.

I also have this issue... I tried the reset a few times and I tried changing the clock face. Still have the lines of dead pixels. I've had it long enough to be out of warranty and this is my second fitbit. All of a sudden at the same time 3 or 4 rows of pixels died. Is there another solution? Thanks!

Same thing happened here.  Out of warranty, came off charger, half screen pixilated ("top" half in my case).

Went through hard re-start sequence multiple times = no improvement.

Help!
