Alta HR and iPhone 12

Just got the 12. Phone alerts come through as alerts on my Alta hr, but text alerts don’t. It’s recognized in Bluetooth, and the app also syncs just fine. I restarted the device as well as the phone. Haven’t seen anything else I can do. Any ideas? Will the app be updated to support the new iOS and Alta sync?

I am having the same problem.  I have a new iphone 12 and can't get the phone call and text notifications to show up on my Alta HR.  I had the same problem last time I upgraded my phone.  So frustrating!!

I’m having the same issue very frustrating. Just got the new iPhone 12 today and now I don’t receive any notifications on my watch

I finally got my issue resolved through Fitbit support/chat. This is what they said to do and it worked for me.

Let's try the following:
* Open the App.
* Tap the Today tab.
* Tap your profile picture.
* Scroll down and tap "Set up a device"
* Choose the Alta HR and follow the on screen instructions, if you receive a prompt to "Replace" accept it.

I don’t have a profile picture on my app and I also don’t have an HR, just
a plain Alta. Glad you are all straightened out!

I don't have a picture on my app either, I just tapped where my picture should be. It shouldn't matter where you have an Alta or an Alta HR, just tape where it says set up a device. Hope this works for you

So sorry this didn't work for you. This was actually the 2 or 3rd set of steps they sent to me. Perhaps the other ones will work for you. Keep reaching out to them they are responsive and hopefully something they suggest will work for you
