Alta HR band coming off

I have been having an issue with this band staying on. Almost lost it a few times.  Talked to support and I am out of warranty.  After reading all these other people having the same problem. It makes me think there is a flaw in the design. I shouldn't have to pay for a new band if they are having issues with their design.

Any recommendations on bands that last longer than 4 months? I haven't had to pay for a new band yet which has been great, but the next one I will have to purchase since I have had the device for a year now. It has just been frustrating to not be able to use the device during my workouts while I wait for replacement bands and I almost lost the entire activity tracker the two times the bands broke and fell off my wrist at some point during the day.

I too, had the same problem.  I bought a replacement band at Target probably a year ago now and this one is lasting longer than the one it came with.  Good luck!

Totally fed up with Fitbit! The strap pops off all the time, lost my first watch, they did replace this, then strap came off replacement , again they replaced the strap only . And now the strap is off again losing the whole Fitbit ! I give up!! 😡

I can't understand why FitBit doesn't correct this design flaw, unless it is planned obsolescence.  They've known about it for years. I've lost one FitBit because the band wouldn't stay attached.  I replaced it (foolishly perhaps) with another FitBit, but had the same issue.  I've already replaced that band once, and now the new one won't stay on.  I won't replace it with another FitBit.

After coming to the conclusion the Fitbit was lost for good ,this tome, I then actually stumbled across it lying on the drive👍🏻 I’ve now bought another strap from amazon, a leather one. So far it’s not come off. 🤞🏻
