I really don’t care what Fitbit have said in other forums -my phone tells me Fitbit is consuming battery (ios 14.5.1) all the time in the background. Please restore the ability to turn “all day sync” OFF. My decision as to what runs in my phone, not yours, and turning Bluetooth on and off to fix it won’t really do. (BTW - tests show phone battery is performing well, so it’s not that!)
Alta HR now ageing and coming up for replacement - but it won’t be with Fitbit unless this is fixed.

Hi @DJD49 all day sync can't be removed. Have you tried simply logging out of your app? If you did that, you'd miss out on notifications, but it would eliminate the battery drain. If you want to keep logged in, maybe limit the notifications you receive would help.

Good idea! Don’t care two hoots about notifications, have them turned off anyhow on Fitbit and almost all other apps. Very little apps generate is actually urgent and my time is too precious to me to be wasted by all the distractions “notifications” generate!
But I would still prefer control over what apps do with my phone!
