Alta HR didn't provide hand washing alerts

I was excited to see the handwashing prompts. That's cool. However, it doesn't work on my HR. All other alerts work fine. I get texts and movement reminders, but NO handwashing reminders. Any ideas/thoughts? Have an Alta HR and iPhone7+. TIA

Make sure the Fitbit app is allowed to send you notifications. For setup instructions, see How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?
