Alta HR display has disappeared

The display on my Alta HR, though charging fine and syncing OK, has disappeared. I have tried several times to reset it to no avail. Any suggestions?

I put my Alta HR on charge this morning, synced at 0730. then the screen just went blank. nothing, and the devise can't be found. not charging at all now. Its died...…..

My Alta HR is just over 12 months old. Died today. Have tried charging it to no effect. 
Have noticed the last couple of weeks. It hasn’t been recording data - steps, sleep etc. Have tried resetting it but no luck there either.

My Alta HR died today... also cleaned connections & still will not charge. Any suggestions? Are replacement batteries an option? Thanks

I'm afraid I don't know. Maybe you should contact the Fitbit helpdesk -
something I'm going to have to do myself!

I’m having the same issue, screen went blank, charge lasts for about 24 hours and randomly not counting steps.

any luck with determining what is going on?

No I can’t find any information to explain what caused my Fitbit to literally die. I don’t see any option but to buy a new smart watch device

Same thing happened to me! Less than 12 months old. 😠 Fitbit app says the battery charge is full, but can’t “find” it to sync.

Annoying right? Mine is 2yrs old. The whole unit is just dead... nothing lights up. Thinking it is lost cause & will buy a new device... different brand of course
