Hi,
This morning my screen has decided it doesn't want to display anything when I tap or swipe it. My battery is half charged and I have tried doing a reset of my tracker but to no avail.
Thanks

I was reading responses to why my screen is blank. I don’t have the option for buttons on my charging cord. What else can I do? It is still tracking through the app but nothing is displaying on my watch

I'm having the same exact issue. It says it's charged but as soon as I take it off the charger, the screen goes back black.

The battery in My Alta HR had begun to last less than a day for it's last 2 charging cycles.
The last time it was drained in 8 hours. That time when I plugged it in the HR actually became hot. And won't respond to the restart process.
I received this unit for Christmas 2018. So it's about 1 1/2 years old.
Help!?

The button is at the end of your charging cord where you plug into
computer. It can be hard to see as also black.
After months of sitting in the bottom of a bowl of random 'junk' I pulled
my fitbit out today & charged it. It now seems to be working fine 🤔
hopefully it will continue to!
Mine is working again! Or so it seems. Recharged today after 4 or so months
and it appears to be back to normal!

Happy Friday -
I’m having the issue where my Fitbit Alta HR display is black. I charged it for over 24 hours, so I know it’s completely charged. I tried restarting it by pressing the button on the charging cable 3 times, I feel it vibrate with each press, but it still won’t turn on.
Any other suggestions available that I can try? This tool has become a major part of my day and it’s been inoperable for three days. No Bueno!

wow-- i thought i'd misused mine somehow, but i logged in here and it seems like it's an incredibly prevalent issue!
I've been thinking about switching to one of the phone-brand smart watches for a while, but stayed with the fitbit just out of ease of use and cos i liked its interface. but if it's become so widespread-ly unreliable i guess it might be a sign...

Hi, I have the same blank screen problem with my altar HR. I have tried the factory reset but it hasn't worked. The screen goes between the battery symbol and the Fitbit logo and has been for 20 minutes. When we take it off the charger all the different screens flash through constantly and very quickly. What should I try next? Thanks

Fitbit Alta display constantly fails after numerous hard resets - this is the third Alta we received - sorely annoying, especially during stay-home orders where walking is the thing - please advise!
P.S. Love my Charge!

My Fitbit Alta HR screen does not get switched on
Batt is Fully charged and the fitbit is paired with an apple phone and syncs well with it.
Tried the restart by clipping the tracker to the the charger and pressing the button for 3 times within 4 secs, did not work
Phone is on IOS 13.3
Please let me know how to get it going.
