Alta HR doen’t track sleep

My wife’s Alta HR will not track her sleep! She’s tried it on her right wrist, she’s tried it on her left wrist ; nothing works! I tried it on my wrist and it works. We have set the detection to ‘sensitive’ without success. What else can I try?

I have been having a similar issue with mine, if I go to bed at 10 and sleep till 2 get up to use the bathroom then go back to bed , it only registers from 2 till I get up, not the 4 hours before that. 
I am contacting support to see if it’s an issue that can be fixed or it’s just an old device.

I have applied 100% of the procedures advised by Fitbit and the community to no avail : Alta HR just doesn’t track sleep on my wife’s wrist! Since she had the same problem on a previous Fitbit I have come to the conclusion that my wife is untrackable😪 If I buy the Fitbit Luxe and discover that it does not trace my wife’s sleep , will Fitbit reimburse me?…..
