Alta HR has a large scratch across the screen

I have had my Alta for several years. It still works great even though I have a large scratch across the screen. I cannot view time, steps or anything else on my Fitbit as my screen shows nothing (even though it is still tracking everything). I used to be able to go to a dark space and it would show but that does not seem to work anymore. Is there a way to give new life to my display, backup lighting, LED, whatever my Fitbit lacks for viewing?

Hi @bobit  as they age, the screens on the Alta series seemed to get dimmer until they were quite dark. My own Alta HR got dim and when I was gifted with a Luxe, I switched to it. The Luxe allows for the screen to be dim or brighter and is a better screen than the Alta series. I'm not sure there is much you can do for the Alta, but restarting the device was suggested.
