I just walk around the house doing chores, etc.  I don't understand how I am in cardio 2 to 3 hours a day!

I would like to know if you keep having issues with your heart rate information? If so, I recommend taking a look at the help article: What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device? and follow the instructions provided there.
