Alta HR is tracking too many steps

My Alta hr is logging way more steps than I am walking

If you feel that your step count and distance are inaccurate, confirm the following are correct in the Fitbit app:


Since we use height to estimate your walking and running stride lengths, you may want to measure and manually adjust these values if your legs are longer or shorter than average. For more information, see How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity? and How accurate are Fitbit devices?

Hi @Anthony_risso Try restarting it a few times and see ifnthat gets it back into line. If it doesn't fix it, come back with more details of what you are doing during the day, and whether the Alta hR has suddenly changed to over ousting.
