Please help. For a number of weeks my alta hr has been shutting off many times throughout the day and during sleeping hours. After doing a factory reset it turns back on with plenty of charge in the battery but will still shut off multiple times. This is becoming very frustrating as it is only 2 years old. Please advise.

I phoned the customer service team. Feel like there may be a technical error in the devices sold around the same time. Mine has just gone over 2 years: said warranty runs out in 2 years. Feel like it’s a bit of a gimmick. Said it happens as battery is draining too fast..

I’ve got the exact same problem. So frustrating and keep logging support calls and getting nowhere

So that means there is nothing we can do to fix this? I am on my 5th fitbit already -- 2 HRs, 1 Flex, and my second Alta HR☹️

I spoke to the supervisor as it was only 2 months past the guarantee date, they offered a 50% discount or a replacement on the exact same device, with 30 day guarantee on it. I took that offer for now. I think it’s a money making scheme to have them break straight after the warranty runs out on it.
