Alta HR not reading heart rate and won’t restart

My device stopped reading my heart rate on Sunday night into Monday morning and hasn’t been reading my heart rate since then. I thought it was the battery so I charged it, but no success there. I followed the instructions for restarting (plug it in, press the button three times), but it never restarted. Any thoughts on how to get the heart rate back?
