I just got a new alta hr. It is doing absolutely nothing. I have tried many times to turn on and nothing is happening. I have tried to put on charge and can't get anything to happen. Bluetooth  won't do anything cause it will not turn on. Should there be any battery charge at all to show that it should turn on. When I put on charge It doesn't  show any lights or the vibrate that it says it should do. What should I do? I have tapped and nothing happens, I have tried to charge and no sign at all that it's charging. Have checked connection to make sure pins are touching and they are.  Thank you for any advice.

Hello, I’ve been trying to charge my new Fitbit Alta hr gunmetal series but it wouldn’t charge, no signs of turning on and I also tried resetting by pushing the button 3 times and it still wouldn’t turn on.

I have mine for 15 months, I have the same issue. 

Warranty is 12 months so and there is no repair center in South Africa. 

My only options is to throw it away.

 

Not recommended product or brand. Next time i want to buy the best, i will rather buy something else. The price does not match the products poor quality.

It became very temperamental.
I use a xiomi mifit now. It does so much more than count steps and was
1/15th of the price
