Hi there @Georgie1967. Great to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry to hear that your active minutes are being counted inaccurately. 900 seems very strange...

Thanks a lot for trying to reboot your tracker to get this sorted out!

I can probably recommend setting up your tracker as a new device at this point. Firs, try to restart it again. You can easily do this by clipping your tracker to the charger and plugging the charger to a USB port on your computer or a wall charger. Then, Press the button on your charging cable three times within four seconds and your tracker should vibrate and show the Fitbit logo. This will make your tracker to reboot.

After that, proceed to set up your Alta HR as a new device. For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.

Hope this helps and please let me know if you need anything else!

Is anyine else having the issue Georgie did?

This started happening to me yesterday  woke up today with 147 active minutes and 200o calories burnt.  I must be doing marathons now in my sleep.

And having restarting, pressing buttons, and deleting device and readding, I  am on phone again...

Been on hold off and on for an hour.

Yes. I am having the same problem with my Alta HR. Heart rate, active minutes, and thus, calories burned are crazy high. Got the Alta HR in September. Got a replacement one this past weekend. After one day of accurate reading, it is now having the exact same problem. 200+ active minutes when I was at work from 9a and 8p. After 40 minutes of my time spent on the phone last night with support, I’m now being sent a second replacement, which I have no confidence will work either. This has been a huge waste of time. I’d like to try a Charge 3, instead, because I never had issues with my Charge HR, but the replacement option will only match your current tracker or give you 50% off. So, I’d have to dump more money at the problem. Would like to understand if only the Alta HR has these issues or if other trackers are behaving similarly.

This just started happening to me 2 days ago.  It also has an accelerated heart rate and did not show any sleep on one of the nights.  I'm trying the restart.  Hope that works.

I'm also having the same issue. It just started last week and i'm seeing over 100-200 active minutes a day, and i work in an office with not that much movement. Steps seem to be accurate, but the rest is off. Going to try the resets, but not feeling too confident based on the posts here.

Mine is doing the complete OPPOSITE! I can spend 30 mins on a treadmill and it'll say 10 active minutes 😑😑😑 no idea what to do!
