Alta HR recording walks as runs

I just started walking for exercise again (took a long break after my dog died). I noticed that my Alta HR is recording my walks as runs. I think it did this previously, so I set runs as ignored in the app and that fixed it. Now it's doing it again, but runsbare still set as ignored. Anyone have any ideas?

That is odd. Id suggest you try restarting your tracker several times and see if that fixes it. Let us know how you go

I'm also having this problem! When I go to select "walk" the icon is a running person and the exercise is recorded as a run. (Hike also shows a running person when it used to show a figure with a hiking stick.
