Alta HR shows incorrect heart rate

starting few days ago, my Alta HR suddenly started to show my HR way too high -- 30-40pts above actual.  as a result my sleep time and my daily calories also counted incorrectly and I need them. 

 

I already reset my device several times, already tried to remove it and add back  -- nothing seems to help. 

 

I have found lots of questions regarding this issue in the forums, and can't believe there are still no solution to this!

Same here! Started on Sept 12. Since then, no sleep score as my HR is too high at night. I’m getting ridiculous amount of active minutes when waking up. It’s very frustrating that people seem to have been reporting this since April and no solution has been found!

I have the same problem. It started yesterday - 10-20 - when I sat quietly in the waiting room of my General Practitioner. At that moment my heart rate was 158. Normally I have a heart rate of 158 while I'm jogging. At the evening I checked my minutes of activities and I saw I was active for 344 minutes (I've never been active for 344 minutes). Today I'm still having the same problem with the indication of my heart rate. I really don't know what went wrong or what's going wrong, but I really like to see this problem solved. When I'm sporting I really need the indication of my heart rate that I can check if I'm forcing myself or not. It also is an indication to check if I need to move more or not.

Is there any solution for this problem?

I was told I have to buy a new one, as this one is broken and out of warranty. Disappointing is the word

I didn't wear device for several days, and now when I synch it with my phone it shows I have been running around as crazy since midnight..

Broken? How can the Alta HR be broken if the incorrect indication of the heart rate started suddenly some days ago? It is weird that you’ve been told this. My guess is that it has something to do with the last update, so I will wait for a new update and see what that result will be.
