Hello, my Alta HR sleep details are not working for 3 nights now. I have not done anything different. I am doing everything correctly ie. wearing it properly, updates done etc.

Any answers?

Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community @Sagefit

I understand you’re not receiving sleep details for the last 3 nights. Your device needs at least 3 hours of sleep data to estimate your sleep stages. There are a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

Please review this help article to assist you with understanding sleep stages: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2163/?q=Sleep&l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=1#ClassicSlee...

If you are still experiencing problems you can also try restarting your Alta HR. You will not lose any data doing this.

Here’s how:

  1. Plug your charging cable into a USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display. Your tracker will begin charging.
  3. Press the button on your charging cable 3 times within a few seconds, briefly pausing between presses. The button is on the end of the charging cable that is plugged into your computer. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.
  4. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable. Now try sync your Alta HR

I have done all the steps to restarting so that the Sleep pattern would go back to at least noting all my sleep. It still only sees part of the time I am asleep. It has happened for the theist 3 nights. I have done nothing different with sleeping. I did a restart yesterday and Sleep is still off . Need help.
