My Alta HR isn’t tracking my HR and steps correctly. For example it said I hit my 10k step goal yesterday... When I sat down for a BBQ I was on 4000 steps and didn’t walk anywhere or shake my wrist for this to happen.
It has been reading my heart rate as over 100 for the last few days, saying I’m burning thousands of calories. My mum has a BP machine that measures pulse and my heart rate has actually been 60...
I’ve tried all the steps recommended on here (wearing it in different ways, resyncing Hr to on/auto, resetting the Fitbit) and nothing is working.
I’ve had this for a few years now but really looked after it! Is there anything I can do or is this just a scam - make sure they stop working after a few years so we all have to go out and buy a new one? (Unfortunately I cant afford a new one at the moment so if I can’t fix this I think my Fitbit journey is over!!)
