I have had my Alta HR for about 2 years and it's been great! Suddenly for the last three nights it has not shown sleep patterns. I am not wearing it any differently or sleeping in different positions. Everything is the same but the sleep patterns are not showing up. Is there anything I can do?

This started happening to me about week and a half ago and on Sunday it just died! I was able to restart it by rebooting it but it won't hold a charge anymore! I ordered a new one.

Oh no! That sucks! But thank you for the information! I'm guessing I will have to buy a new one as well. 😕

The following conditions can prevent the recording of the sleep phases:
- You record your sleep using the app instead of the automatic sleep detection of the tracker.
- The tracker's battery is almost empty when you go to bed (below 25%). This prevents regular recording of the pulse.
- You use the metal bracelet while sleeping
- You sleep less than 3 hours.
- The bracelet is too loose or too tight on the wrist. You should be able to put your index finger between the bracelet and your arm without great resistance so that your pulse is recorded regularly and the sleep phases can be recognized.
If you tap on the recording that does not show you any sleep phases, you should receive a message explaining why you did not receive any. What is this message?

This is the same thing I'm experiencing. Sunday was the last day I had a sleep pattern. I've re-synced, uninstalled the app .... nothing. I've checked for updates, nothing. I hope this issue will be fixed soon.

Hi there, my issue is that I only see the simplified version. I use to receive a detailed sleep score, but as of last Sunday it has disappeared. I've done everything including reloading the app and it still wont show up. I don't receive an error message. Thanks

For whatever reason yesterday my sleep score appeared. Yeah! Happy it's back.

mine started going crazy, going through all the things on the screen over and over and over again. I restarted it , now it won’t track my sleep or heart rate. It’s about 2 years old

Seems like clockwork, every 2 years whichever fitbit I have just dies...Mine barely holds a charge for 3 hours now.

That is what happened to me too. I googled what do to about not getting the sleep patterns and it said to do a restart. I did the restart, and now it will not hold a charge more than a couple hours. I went from charging once a week, to a couple times a day, and the sleep patterns are now hit and miss.

Please restart your Alta HR How do I restart my Fitbit device?
Just for your sleep try to wear it tighter and a bit higher or lower on the wrist.

Having the same problem. Also, my heart rate on Fitbit will not go below 104 thus it appears I am exercising and burning calories when I am sleep or sedentary.
