I tried everything recommended in this forum to reset my Alta but it displays the set up message & I cannot clear it. Please help

Hi @Sbabcock,
You need to download the Fitbit app and turn on your BT (you'll need your BT later).
Next log into your Fitbit account using the same credentials you used to log into your account on the computer.
On the left hand side, yo should see a small version of your Profile Picture. Tap it.
You're now in your Account Settings. Please scroll to "Set Up A New Device".
Finally, select "Alta HR" and follow the prompts.
