My Alta HR had been working absolutely fine and was charged to 65% this morning. Midday I tried to look at the time and then realized the screen was black with no response. I tried plugging it in and it didn't vibrate or turn on. I'm guessing it's just dead 😭

Nou ik heb precies hetzelfde,vrijdag de 13 de.Ik denk dat hij idd gewoon op is,heb hem 3 jaar nu.Wel erg snel dan.Maar mss heeft iemand de gouden tip.Zelf heb ik hem al ontkoppeld ,maar nog niks te zien.

Mine did the exact same thing, was working fine and I looked at it to check the time and it was dead. Won't vibrate when I plugged in so won't take a reset! 😩😭

got the same issue with my Alta HR. Charge level was above 60%.
At some point I realized it is not ON. Connecting to the charging cable didn't change anything.
Then, it seems I managed to reset it with the charging cable button and it was up and running.
But later, when I had got to an office - I found it dead again...
That's really disappointing...😣

Mine did exactly the same. It was 80% last night.. wake up this morning and it's dead. Put it charger and in 5mins it's gone from no charge to 3/4 full. Seems to be working now. It's only 3 years old.

When I charge mine, I see the same picture - from 0 to 80% in no time, but it only lasts for a couple of hours then totally dead again- the green light is more intense than usually when working - maybe that's what uses the battery capacity? Mine is 3,5 years old😥

Same here. I’m thinking they are messing with the software so we have to buy a new one. Mine has been intermittently tracking sleep for the last few months. My mom bought a new one and it also intermittently tracks sleep.

I found this on another thread
After restarting mine it started working again. It still showed about 30% charge after restarting which is what it was the last time it synced several hours ago. If you don't want to go to the link just press the button on the charger three times while plugged in and connected to your Fitbit.

Mine packed in last week. It's been working fine but it just went off. Plugged it in, did the 3x reset, which woke it up but once it was unplugged it went off again. Left it and retried a couple of days ago but nothing. I don't think I'll waste money buying another one.

Same thing has been happening here! Plug Into charging cable & press button 3 times. It starts but who knows when next it will “just die”! It keeps doing it. FitBit support has been disappointing to say the least! This negative experience has confirmed for me that I won’t be getting another FitBit! I have tried Live Chat which was disastrous and then phoned Support and they wanted to charge $2.00 to talk to an Expert. What?

Mine has started to randomly switch off about once a week, it has restarted on the charge cable so far but is now completely dead. Looking back through old posts, this looks like it’s a known issue…

Mine had about 50% and the screen went blank so I tried to charge it. It will not charge.
