My Alta HR is still going strong except for one issue. Whenever a long vibration occurs, such as a silent alarm, or reaching my step goal, the device 'turns off'. Even if the battery was full. I have to put it on the charger and do a restart, which shows that the battery is still full.
This doesn't happen in any other situation, including 'short' vibrations such as phone call or message notifications.
I used the online chat and they told me to change the clock face which didn't make a difference. I tested it with a silent alarm while on the chat and sure enough, it died. The customer service agent told me we'd exhausted all troubleshooting options and obviously just wanted to get me off the chat as quickly as possible.
Hoping someone here might have some advice. I can't afford a new device right now, but when I can I definitely won't be getting another Fitbit. Really disappointed with the lack of service and lack of care given about older devices.

Hi @kazz8 It u fortunately sounds as if your Alta HR is dying. They are now an old device and have not been available for some years. It is really not unusual to not be offered a replacement device once you are out of warranty (for any brand). I am really not sure what you expect Support to offer you?

Thanks for your response. Maybe if support had been honest with me and told me that it's dying, instead of telling me to change the clock face and monitor it? What disappointed me was the way they pushed me off the call with no resolution or suggestion. Had they said, 'it's old, it's probably dying' it would have been far more acceptable rather than acting like changing the clock face would resolve the issue.
