Alta HR turns off

Called support regarding my Alta hr just shutting off after a few hours. Had it a couple of years. The response was “bad battery “. Answer was to buy a new one (which you can’t because they no longer make an alta hr) and they would give me a 35% discount which you can’t use because you can’t use it on a device that is on sale. So they gave me nothing. Not a good way to treat a customer or to do business.

Hi @DonaldRennie  a couple of years is pretty good for some of these devices. I have an Alta HR myself. Getting a 35% discount is still pretty good if you use it for another device. You don't have to use the discount if the sale price is less. Fitbit didn't have to give you a discount on an out of warranty device, so they did treat you right.

So you think giving a customer something they can’t use is treating them right? Something they can’t use has no value. Bad business! Don Rennie
