Alta HR will no longer tell me how many steps I have left to walk for the hour

My HR will no longer tell me how many steps I have left to walk for the hour. Before I could tap on steps and the current hour and see how many steps I had made for the hour and tap on the bars to get a more accurate count. It won’t let me do that anymore.
Also it would be great if the little buzz message from the Alta HR would always tell me how many steps I lack for the hour.
Thank you,

Mechelle

Have you got a resolve for this? I noticed mine is doing the same. I haven’t needed to use that in awhile so not sure how long it’s not worked.

Hi @MDuke,

Have you reset it?  Just plug the device into the computer and you should see a small black button at the base of the charger.  Press this rapidly and repeatedly with breaks for about 3-4 seconds.  You should see the Fitbit logo appear and the device should vibrate signaling a successful restart.

I found another question about this in another forum. Lots of people are having this problem. Seems to be related to either the recent app update or IOS update with Apple. No work around yet. Both updates were the same day so I can’t pin point which one it is.

Nope, all of your information will still be there.
