Alta HR won't hold a charge

In last couple of days my Alta battery is draining within a couple of hours where previously lasted several days.  Have tried resetting but still same problem.

I appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this battery issue. If your tracker isn't holding a charge, I recommend taking a look at the help article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life? and follow the tips provided there. After following them, test your unit.

I don't have any notifications on my device and it doesn't always show the display when I move my wrist. I used to charge it once a week, but now, even though it will show fully charged within a few hours it shows low battery again. It's beginning to show a lower amount of charge each time, so I'm concerned it will soon stop working.
