Alta HR won't restart

Hi

My alta screen has stopped working. The first step to try and fix this is to restart the device using the charger and press the button 3 times. When I do this, nothing happens. The device does not restart.

Can you help please?

Hi @louisepat  have you tried using a different usb port? I have one port on my computer that doesn't work and when I use it, I can't restart my Fitbit. Keep trying to do the restart. Other than that, is the screen response to taps?

Hi, thanks for the reply. I’ve tried a few ports, one on computer and others using a plug socket.

The screen is unresponsive to taps.

I'd probably keep trying to restart it @louisepat  but it's possible the Alta HR has died. You probably are past warranty, too.

The Alta tracks steps and everything it should. There’s just no screen and it won’t restart.

You clean all the connector pieces on the charger and Alta HR? There's not much that can be done if you're out of warranty. The restart button is used a lot for minor problems.
